The Phone Call

​”Is your packing done?” He asked.

“Where am I supposed to go?” She asked.

“For the trip, for those who need you to be there.” He emphasised.

The exchanged expectations. They scrunitised silence.
For she very well knew, the phone call was paid by a purpose, not hidden from her. And that she was being persuaded for the company of his girl.
Yet, she packed up, drawing curtains to the entire act.
