Life on Three Wheels

Everyday, many set out on three wheels to fulfill their three basic needs of food, clothing and shelter. There is no incentive or promotion in this job yet, the dedication level of the rickshaw puller for the passenger is incredible. Whether it’s humid summer, drowning rains or harsh winters, they will help you reach your destination.

In the last century, it was a token of pride to hire a rickshaw but with time the rickshaw service has gone unnoticed. Mostly, they are found picking and dropping school students these days. Although, it has become an obsolete means of transport, it is very useful for travelling through narrow lanes.

It’s sad to find that advancements towards future leave some or the other section of our society backward. The depreciation in use of man pulled rickshaws has seriously affected the livelihood of many. Just think about it.
